I discovered a 2-3 year old used G1800 with 82 hours on it. Its got a 48 inch mower, snowblower, rototiller, category 0 3pt hitch, rear weights and a cab. It appears to be in real nice shape. They want $8,900 for it. Dooes that sound reasonable? Also, are implements readily available for a category 0 hitch?

If it fits with what you need, buy it. That's a fair deal. Try pricing a new Deer 300 with those accessories or one of the bigger Simplicty units. I have exactly the unit you described less the tiller, rear PTO and with the bagger. Even better if it's the 4 wheel steering unit. It can do an amazing amount of work. If you have lots of acres to mow, you may want to try to trade for a 54" deck.

I have 600' of driveway in New England with a 10% grade and it takes about 35-40 minutes to clear the driveway of snow. Don't mow too much, tried to keep it wooded, but the unit came with the deck and I do about 3/4 of an acre with lots of obstacles in about 25 minutes. Takes about 1 hour with a push mower.

Very nice machine, but I wish it had 4 wheel drive sometime..... ....
